Your invite or set-password link

Your admin gives you a link (or a QR code) to set up your Linx account. It works once, for 24 hours.

Setting up

  1. Open the link, or scan the QR code with your phone’s camera.
  2. Welcome to Linx: Choose how you’ll sign in:
    • Passkey (recommended): Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your phone. Nothing to remember or type.
    • Password + authenticator app: a password, then a 6-digit code from an app on your phone.
    • Password only, if your admin allows it: simplest, but a leaked password is enough to get in.
  3. Follow the steps. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe: they won’t be shown again.

The link expired or was already used. Ask your admin for a new one: they can make one from People.

If your admin sends a new link after you forgot your password, it sets a new password only. You’re still asked for your passkey or authenticator code afterwards: a link never skips that step.
