Signing in

Open your Linx’s address, like https://pbx.example.com, and sign in.

The sign-in page

With a password

Type your Email and Password, then Sign in. If you have a second step, Linx asks for it next:

  • your passkey (Face ID, your fingerprint or your device’s PIN), or
  • the 6-digit code from the app in your authenticator app, or
  • one of your recovery codes, with Use a recovery code instead.

With a passkey

Choose Sign in with a passkey. Your device asks for Face ID, your fingerprint or its PIN, and you’re in. Nothing to type. Passkeys only work at your Linx’s own address.

With your company account

If your admin set it up, a button like Sign in with Google appears. Your Linx email must be the same as your company account’s email.

Forgot your password?

If your Linx can send email, Forgot your password? appears under the password box.

  1. Choose Forgot your password?, type your email, then Send the link. The page always says the same thing, whether or not that email has an account here: nobody can use it to find out who has one.
  2. Open the email Choose a new Linx password. Its link works once, for 30 minutes. Nothing arrived? Check spam, or ask your admin. At most 3 links an hour go to one email.
  3. Type your new password twice, then Continue.
  4. If you have a second step, Linx asks for it now: your authenticator code, your passkey or a recovery code. Your password only changes once that’s done, so someone who got into your mailbox alone can’t change it.
  5. Done: you’re signed in, and signed out everywhere else. Linx emails you Your Linx password was changed. If you didn’t do it, tell your admin at once.

A used or older link says so; choose Send a new one. Lost your authenticator app, passkeys and recovery codes as well? Email can’t replace those. Choose Ask my admin to reset it under the code: your admins are told, check it’s really you, and reset your second step. Then use Forgot your password? again. See Lost your authenticator or passkey. If your Linx requires company sign-in, no link is sent: use the company button.

No Forgot your password? on the page? Your Linx can’t send email yet: ask your admin for a set-password link (Your invite or set-password link).

Something went wrong

  • Wrong email or password. Check both. After several wrong tries, Linx makes you wait before the next one, even with the right password. See Locked out.
  • Your sign-in timed out. You took too long on the second step. Enter your password again.
  • Lost your phone or your passkey? See Lost your authenticator or passkey.
  • More help: Help signing in, under the sign-in box, opens these guides without signing in.
